This site is intended as a repository for random notes that I felt important enough not to be forgotten (by me) and which may also be of interest to others.
I am a mathematician (download my PhD thesis here) and in my spare time I develop and maintain the text editor MacVim.
Like the style of the blog, very informative! Keep it up :D
Hi there, I don’t know you at all, but wanted to thank you for this comment on MacVim. I’ve had a bug in a Java program I’m writing pestering me for months and months; thanks to the links in your posts, I learnt about NSZombieEnabled, figured out what was happening and stopped it in minutes. If you hadn’t bothered to share your knowledge, I’d still be stumbling around hopelessly. Thanks so much, and if you’re ever in Singapore, I owe you a bottle of your favourite drink. Cheers!
Christoph

Hi Christoph,
I had to put your comment through Google Translate in order to understand it…I don’t read (much) German. :-O
Please post questions about MacVim to the vim_mac Google Group — this is my personal blog and it’s not specifically about MacVim.
(The short answer to your question though is: localization is a work in progress…)
Björn
Bjorn,
Thanks so much for making MacVim available. It works flawlessly. I’m sure thousands of other Mac users feel the same way.
